New cPass student reports being posted to KITE Educator Portal

Score reports for 2016–17 cPass assessments are currently being published to KITE Educator Portal for access by educators and testing coordinators. Students interested in accessing their assessment scores should contact their school.

Some changes have been made to last year’s report model to increase ease of use and to allow for wider availability of the information the reports provide:

  1. Score reports for cPass assessments are now only one page long
  2. To support the reduced length of the reports and to make information about interpreting reports more readily accessible, a new section of the cPass website has been created.

cPass staff continue to work to make sure scoring is accurate and as accessible as possible. To that end, if cPass results are ever needed prior to report delivery, testing coordinators can contact cPass to get students’ assessment scores in a spreadsheet format, without the accompanying report. These interim requests will be fulfilled as staff time allows.

For the 2016–17 school year, reports are being generated and posted to Educator Portal in the following order:

  1. Comprehensive Agriculture
    • These meet requirements for the Kansas Department of Agriculture’s Skills & Competencies Certificates
  2. General CTE
  3. Power, Structural, & Technical Systems Module
    • Currently undergoing standard setting; reporting will be delayed until after May 17
  4. Animal Systems

In the near future, the Collaborative will begin testing and reporting in more frequent intervals to make results more useful for other purposes (e.g., qualifying for internships, fulfilling certificate requirements). cPass endeavors to make reporting more useful, so if you have feedback on the reporting process for cPass assessments, please contact us.
