If you have participated in writing items for cPass® assessments before, or have wanted to previously but didn’t have the time to dedicate to attending an item writing workshop, there is good news: We now have an online training available to those wishing to help provide new content for cPass® computer-based assessments. Contributors can also easily submit items online after they’ve completed the training.
To become an item writer for any Pathway Assessment, please contact cPass® staff to submit your name for approval. Once our state partners approve, we will gladly grant access to the secure portion of our website to get you trained and writing new items.
The Collaborative is hoping to engage more interested professionals and educators in creating content for each Pathway Assessment to most accurately reflect what students will need to know to succeed in postsecondary settings.
